Valerie, born and raised in Cincinnati, is a trained Community Health and Peer Recovery Supporter and Mental Health Coach. She is currently enrolled in the Harvest Bible University for Ministry certification. Her goal is to keep growing her skills and Biblical knowledge, so that she can support others on their life journey and nourish them spiritually in the process. 

Working at Lord’s Gym Ministries has allowed her to openly use her love for God to help others. She enjoys getting to fulfill people’s basic needs while telling them about a Father Who loves them; a Father Who is waiting for them to turn to Him. Her desire is to help grow God’s kingdom one person at a time.

Valerie has been working in the Price Hill area for many years. She has a unique understanding of the area and the traumas our friends are experiencing, as she has experienced many of the same traumas in her own life.  

In addition for her passion to grow God’s kingdom, she is also passionate about her family and their relationship with the Lord. Her children have been a part of Lord’s Gym Ministries through programs , volunteer opportunities, and even summer jobs through the Y2W program at the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. 

Valerie herself has worn many hats here at Lord’s Gym Ministries, including running the after-school and summer programs for our youth.
