“I’ve loved working with the kids. It’s been great helping them find the right path in life. (FAC) is making a difference in their lives.” – Erik, Volunteer

At the Lord’s Gym Family Activity Center in Price Hill you can serve at-risk youth, and their parents. You provide encouragement to become involved in healthy activities that promote positive life skills at school and at home, while nurturing their relationship with God if they so choose. This program has seen improved performance in school, respect of authority, respect for community and cultures, and the minimization or avoidance of destructive behaviors.

Countless studies prove that youth are more likely to graduate from high school, go to college or find meaningful employment IF they stay connected to positive programs. They are less likely to have a record, get pregnant, or get someone pregnant. They benefit by having a safe place to hang out, build relationships with God, staff, volunteers, and each other while participating in sports and other activities.

  • Cycling at FAC is part of our Youth Resiliency Adventure in Price Hill. This activity for teens helps build a sense of family and belonging while nurturing habits of determination and endurance. Bikes are provided.
  • The Lord’s Gym Titans of Price Hill was established in 2019. The five-month youth football league includes a cheer leading program, volunteer coaches from the community and the rallying of parents. In the fall of 2019, the team of children ages 6 to 7, played in their first ever championship game. The mighty Titans finish in a respectable second place for the season.
  • The After School Youth Program involves mentoring and making friends with Price Hill youth. The program includes help with school work, various games and fellowship.
  • Throughout the summer and fall every Wednesday, 5-7 p.m., a cook out will be held at the community park just up the street from the FAC. This is an opportunity to cook food, serve food, build relationships with attendees and organize kids’ activities.
