25 Years of Impact: A Ride of a Lifetime and a Call to Remember

As Lord’s Gym Ministries celebrates a milestone season, Executive Director Scott R. Bowers marks 25 years of faithful leadership through both an extraordinary journey and a meaningful new resource.

This summer, he will take on “The Ride of a Lifetime (Again)”—a 3,300-mile cycling expedition along the Continental Divide from Canada to Mexico—raising awareness and support for faith-based outreach and youth impacted by gun violence, with a goal of $70,000.

At the same time, Bowers is releasing his free devotional eBook, Remind Me Again, rooted in Bible (Philippians 1:3–5), inviting readers to reflect on God’s faithfulness and find renewed strength. With each download, readers are also invited to make a donation to the Vision Team, helping further the mission and impact of the ministry.

SCOTT BOWERS - Executive Director

Hi, I’m Scott Bowers, and I serve as the Executive Director of Lord’s Gym Ministries. I’ve been blessed to work in ministry leadership for many years, guided by a passion for seeing lives transformed through the love of Jesus and practical care. I came to Lord’s Gym with a heart for outreach and a commitment to building programs that meet people where they are, helping them experience hope, dignity, and purpose.

One of my favorite parts of the ministry is leading and participating in our youth and adult cycling programs, where we combine fitness, mentorship, and faith-building experiences. Through cycling, we teach discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, all while sharing the message of God’s love.

Every day, I’m inspired by our staff, volunteers, and partners who work tirelessly to create safe spaces, share hope, and walk alongside men, women, and children in our community. My goal is to ensure that Lord’s Gym continues to be a place where people grow strong in the Lord—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
