Help us spread warmth and love…
In the spirit of an approaching winter, and the inspiration of Matthew 25:36-40 we are excited to launch a Thanksgiving Coat Drive. This heartfelt initiative is not just about collecting coats but also about spreading warmth, love, and hope to friends everywhere, just as this scripture instructs us.
Matthew 25:36-40 states: “‘I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you as a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
This verse is a powerful reminder of our duty to help the community and our friends of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, who are in need of warm clothing. Our coat drive is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and make a tangible difference in the lives of those struggling to stay warm during the harsh winter months. Come be a part of this Thanksgiving Community Meal on Wednesday November 22 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at our Family Activity Center in Price Hill.
How You Can Serve:
1. Donate Warm Coats: Please consider donating new or gently-used coats.
2. Volunteer: Join us in the process of collecting and distributing coats.
3. Spread the Word: Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to get involved.
The coat drive is a way for us to embody the message of compassion and service. Let us come together to make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors, showing them the love and warmth that we all deserve
