Learning Center
Lord’s Gym Learning Center, housed on the second floor of our Family Activity Center in Price Hill, offers at-risk youth the opportunity to succeed. Focused on academic studies, Bible study, and building positive relationships, this after-school program offers a safe place for kids to learn, play and grow.
- One on one tutoring in math and reading.

Get Involved
- Volunteer an after-school mentor/tutor, you will build a positive relationship with students who are in need of caring adult role models.
- We are also seeking partnerships similar to an “Adopt-a-Class” model, where organizations can help provide vital resources and support to enhance students’ education and personal growth. Here’s how you can make an impact:
- Sponsor a field trip to inspire and educate.
- Provide snacks and beverages to fuel learning.
- Donate homework supplies or craft materials for creativity and success.
- Support children with clothing or shoes when they’re in need.
- Contribute shelf-stable food packs for students to take home.
- Offer tutoring support to guide students throughout the year.

Meet the Staff
Valerie, born and raised in Cincinnati, is a trained Community Health and Peer Recovery Supporter and Mental Health Coach. She is currently enrolled in the Harvest Bible University for Ministry certification. Her goal is to keep growing her skills and Biblical knowledge, so that she can support others on their life journey and nourish them spiritually in the process.
