DANNY GOMEZ - Director at the Family Activity Center
Danny, a native of Puerto Rico, brings a wealth of experience to his roles. With a 20-year career at Mars/Wrigley, he excelled as Senior Sales Manager for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. During the last decade of his corporate journey, he also embraced the role of a youth pastor. Danny has been married for 27 years and is a proud parent of a daughter.
Danny holds a master’s degree in global management and two master’s degrees in theology and divinity. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry, expected to be completed by 2026. In 2019, Danny was selected to participate in The DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative, an intensive 15-month faith-based leadership development program for urban youth workers. Each year, approximately 60 urban youth workers from five select U.S. cities are accepted.
As Director at the Family Activity Center in Price Hill, Danny has established impactful partnerships with organizations such as Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Chick-fil-A, University of Cincinnati, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sports Reach, Cincinnati Recreation Commission, Union Savings Bank, Prasco, The Salvation Army, Santa Maria Community Service, Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation, Marines Toys for Tots, along with seven other churches and four schools.
In addition to his nonprofit work, Danny serves as the Chaplain for Hispanic players of the Cincinnati Reds and visiting teams in a volunteer role for four years. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf and pickleball while cherishing family moments.
