“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Danny Gomez - Director at the Family Activity Center
I’m Danny, a native of Puerto Rico, and I bring both corporate and ministry experience to my role. I spent 20 years at Mars/Wrigley, serving as Senior Sales Manager for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. During the final decade of my corporate career, I also embraced youth ministry, serving as a pastor.
I’ve been married for 30 years, and we are proud parents of a daughter currently attending the University of Cincinnati.
I hold a master’s degree in Global Management and two master’s degrees in Theology and Divinity, and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry, expected in 2026. In 2019, I was honored to join the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative, a selective 15-month, faith-based leadership program for urban youth workers.
As Director of the Family Activity Center in Price Hill, I have built partnerships with organizations including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Chick-fil-A, La Soupe, the University of Cincinnati, Cedarville University, Cincinnati Recreation Center, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sports Reach, Union Savings Bank, The Salvation Army, The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation, and several schools and churches.
I also serve as Chaplain for Hispanic players of the Cincinnati Reds and visiting teams, a role I’ve held for five years. Outside of ministry, I enjoy tennis, golf, pickleball, and spending time with my family.
