Everybody loves a come back story and my guy Robert Reynolds is a come back story in the making. After being beat down by life and taking a few heavy blows from some bad decisions, Robert is now making right his wrongs. He is currently working full time and has his own place and vigorously training several a days a week desiring to make it as professional boxer. Robert is a true example of what we mean when we say “the Lord’s Gym is where people grow STRONG in the Lord”. Many churches often do well when it comes to salvations and baptisms. Both of these are very important however discipleship many times is put on the back burner because of the hard and sometimes dirty work of walking along side of someone and investing in their spiritual growth. Pastor Tom Sherwood of People’s Church House2House however loves rolling up his sleeves and being intentional about discipleship with our friends at the Lord’s Gym. I remember one of our friends asking Tom who he was and what makes him important, maybe this post speaks to that to some degree ☺️
